兎座の舞台稽古に子どもたちと伺うことになりました。
子どもたちの「やりたい！」を大人がサポートして劇団が立ち上がったご縁から、兎座の舞台稽古に子どもたちと伺うことになりました。拝見したのは、九州に実在する介護施設をモデルにした『脳天ハイマー』という舞台。10月に北海道で再演される予定で、オンライン配信もあるそうです。
尊厳をもって生きることを貫き通す登場人物たちの思いが真っ直ぐに伝わってきて、感銘を受けました。
子どもたちは、演技のプロのすごさに圧倒されて、刺激を受けたようでした。
普段は交わることのあまりない、演劇のプロと子どもたちが出会うと、こんなエネルギーが生まれるのだと驚くとともに、このようなご縁に導いてくださった、全ての方に感謝します。「生きる」ことを考えたい方には、特にオススメの舞台です。

The theater troupe was formed when adults supported the children’s “We want to do this!” spirit, and through that connection, we visited Usagi-za’s rehearsal with the children. The play we saw was “Nōten Haimer,” modeled after a real nursing home in Kyushu. It will be revived in Hokkaido this October and will also be streamed online.
The characters’ unwavering determination to live with dignity came through powerfully, leaving a deep impression on us.
The children seemed overwhelmed and inspired by the incredible skill of the professional actors.
I was amazed to see the energy generated when theater professionals and children, who rarely interact, come together. I am grateful to everyone who guided us to this connection. I highly recommend this play, especially for those who want to reflect on “living.”
