大阪・関西万博2025を記念して開催された
【TEAM EXPO 2025 テーマセッション泉州美食EXPO】に
登壇させていただきました。

テーマは「グローバルと食」。
関西空港そばにありながら、観光客が素通りしてしまう泉州地域の食の魅力を盛り上げるにはどうしたら良いか、大使館や飲食店、学校教育など様々な視点から意見を交わしました。

アメリカの小学校と日本の小学校の給食の違いや、これまで携わってきた教育事業を通じた日本食の魅力、また海外で長年生活した観点からお話させていただき、学び多き機会となりました。EXPOをきっかけに日本の魅力がより発信され、海外の方々との交流が深まると良いです。

The theme session was held to commemorate the Osaka-Kansai Expo 2025.

The theme was “Global and Food.
We exchanged opinions from a variety of perspectives, including embassies, restaurants, and school education, on how to boost the food appeal of the Senshu area, which is located near Kansai International Airport but is often overlooked by tourists.

As one the panelists, I talked about the differences between school lunches in elementary schools in the U.S. and Japan, the appeal of Japanese food through the educational projects I have been involved in, and from an educational perspective. It was a great opportunity to learn about Japanese foods.
