神戸市が取り組んでいる生成AIの利活用について伺い、リスクを最小限にするためのガイドラインや、全国初のAI利活用の条例についても学びました。
日々進化するテクノロジーをどのように自治体業務に活用していくのか、試行錯誤しながらも着実に前進していることがわかりました。

また大阪府では、2025年の大阪万博を前に、SDGs先進都市としての取り組みを進めており、内閣府のモデル事業である、大阪府と大阪市が連携した取り組みについて学びました。特に、住民に主体性をもって環境政策に取り組んでもらう工夫が印象的でした。

会派を超えた議員さんや、世田谷区の副区長、部長、職員さんなどと、色々お話できて、有意義な視察でした。調整してくださった職員の皆様、ありがとうございました。

I went to Kansai on an administrative visit by the Planning and General Affairs Committee of the Setagaya City Council.

We heard about Kobe City’s efforts to utilize generative AI, and learned about guidelines for minimizing risks and the nation’s first ordinance on AI utilization.
I learned that the city is making steady progress, albeit through trial and error, on how to utilize technology, which is evolving daily, in municipal operations.

We also learned about Osaka Prefecture’s efforts to become an advanced SDGs city in advance of the 2025 Osaka World Expo, and about a model project by the Cabinet Office in which Osaka Prefecture and Osaka City are working together. I was particularly impressed by the ingenuity in getting residents to take the initiative in environmental policy.

It was a meaningful visit, as I was able to talk with many council members from different factions, as well as the deputy mayor, department heads, and staff of Setagaya City. I would like to thank all the staff members who coordinated the visit.
