地域の人たちと劇団を作りたい！という子どもたちの願いが、世田谷区のファンファンファンディングという助成金事業で実現し、この夏に練習を重ねてきた成果が、子どもたちの最高の演技につながりました。
最初は声が小さかった子どもが、舞台の上で堂々と輝く姿や、細やかな演劇にこだわりを見せる姿に、子どもの無限の可能性を感じました。

キネコ国際映画祭からは、韓国、ドイツ、コロンビアで作られた3つの短編映画を提供いただき、子どもたちに世界の色々な国の文化や生活を想像しながら観てもらいました。

そして最後は、校庭で花火。
花火ができる場所が制限されつつある日常で、暗闇の中に灯が広がっていき、クライマックスのナイアガラは大盛り上がりでした。

この夏は、保護者や地域の方々と、学校を使ってさまざまなイベントを開催することができました。
地域に開かれた学校にしていくためには、学校をはじめとする、さまざまな方の理解や協力が欠かせません。
子どもたちにとって、明日からの2学期が、少しでも楽しみなものになると良いです。

Summer Fun Day
A three-part event was held at an elementary school.

The children’s wish to create a theater company with local people became true through a grant program called Fun Fan Funding by Setagaya City.

Kineko International Film Festival provided three short films made in Korea, Germany, and Colombia for children to watch while imagining the culture and life in various countries around the world.

At the end of the festival, everyone enjoyed fireworks in the schoolyard.
In an everyday life where the places allowed for fireworks are becoming more and more limited, the lights spread out in the darkness, and the climax of the Niagara was a great success.

This summer, we were able to use the school to host a variety of events with parents and community members.
In order to keep the school open to the community, the understanding and cooperation of the school and many other people are essential.
For the children, I hope the second semester starting tomorrow will be as exciting as possible.
