キャリア女性の業界を超えた勉強会で、【会計検査院】の仕事について学ぶ機会をいただきました。

国会、内閣、裁判所のいずれにも属さない独立の国家機関として、国の収入支出の決算を検査する立場から見えることをわかりやすく教えていただき、大変有意義な会でした。

見えた課題を解決につなげるには、日本社会に属するさまざまな立場からの連携が必要で、そういった問題意識を共有する人が増えることが近道だと思いました。

I had the opportunity to learn about the work of the Board of Audit of Japan at a cross-industry study group of career women.

It was a very meaningful meeting, as we learned in an easy-to-understand manner what they can see from their position as an independent national institution that does not belong to either the Diet, the Cabinet, or the courts, and that inspects the financial statements of the government’s income and expenditures.

I thought that in order to solve the issues that they could see, cooperation from various standpoints belonging to Japanese society is necessary, and that increasing the number of people who share an awareness of such issues would be a shortcut to this end.
