世田谷区内の保育園で、エリアマネジメントCOMOGOMOやヤマハ発動機の連携で開発中の「お散歩カート」の実証実験が行われました。

事前のヒアリングで、重たい、方向を変えにくい、安全性などの課題が出て、それらを改善する電動カートが開発されました。普段カートを使われる保育士の方々も、その軽さにびっくり。技術が課題とつながると、こんな感動が生まれるのだと実感しました。

商品化には少し時間がかかるようですが、たくさんの保育士さんを救うのではないかと思います。人、モノを運ぶさまざまな用途にも応用できそうです。

A demonstration test of a “strolling cart” being developed in collaboration with area management COMOGOMO and Yamaha Motor was held at a nursery school in Setagaya.

Preliminary hearings revealed issues such as heavy weight, difficulty in changing direction, and safety, and an electric cart was developed to improve these issues. Childcare workers, who normally use carts, were surprised at how light they were. I realized that when technology is connected to an issue, such excitement is born.

It will take some time to commercialize this product, but I believe it will save many childcare workers. It may also be applied to various uses for transporting people and goods.
