豪徳寺にある旧尾崎テオドラ邸では、現在イラストレーターのマツオヒロミ氏による明治期の洋館を舞台にした「西洋館の記憶」展を開催しています。

ギャラリーの入口では、旧尾崎テオドラ邸のために特別に描かれた作品がお出迎え。その制作過程について詳しく説明されたコーナーもあり、イラストを描かれる方には特にご覧いただきたい内容です。

素敵なお着物でご来館される方もたくさんいらっしゃり、洋館が華やかに彩られています。

Hiromi Matsuo’s exhibition will run until October 8.

The former Ozaki Theodora House in Gotokuji is currently hosting the exhibition “Memories of Western Pavilions” by illustrator Hiromi Matsuo, featuring Western-style buildings from the Meiji period.

At the entrance of the gallery, visitors are greeted by a work of art drawn especially for the House. There is also a section explaining in detail the process of its creation, which is especially interesting for those who draw illustrations. Many visitors come to the museum dressed in beautiful kimonos, which add color to the Western-style house.

In addition, a charity auction including support for the Noto Peninsula and Taiwan disaster areas is being held online until tomorrow, September 30.
