世田谷区の旧池尻中学校跡地を活用した産業活性化拠点「HOME / WORK VILLAGE (ホームワークヴィレッジ)が、いよいよ明日4/16にプレオープンします。

2004年に廃校となった池尻中学校の校舎、体育館、校庭を活用し、商業施設、教育・文化施設、オフィスなどの機能が集積した「働く」「遊ぶ」「学ぶ」人々の暮らしが緩やかにつながる複合施設です。明日4/16、校舎棟の1階を除いたエリアがオープンし、7月にグランドオープンを迎えます。

ここまでの道のりは、長く険しいものでした。
ここから様々な人たちが関わって、世田谷の産業の未来を作る拠点になるよう期待しています。

HOME / WORK VILLAGE, an industrial revitalization base utilizing the site of the former Ikejiri Junior High School in Setagaya, will finally pre-open tomorrow.

The school building, gymnasium, and schoolyard of Ikejiri Junior High School, which was closed in 2004, will be utilized to create a complex of commercial, educational, and cultural facilities, offices, and other functions that will gently connect people’s lives of “working,” “playing,” and “learning.

Tomorrow, April 16, the area excluding the first floor of the school building will open, and the grand opening will take place in July.

The road to this point has been long and arduous.

I hope that from this point on, various people will get involved and that this will become a base for creating the future of industry in Setagaya.
