災害時に、多様性に配慮した女性の視点を取り入れ、地域で活動できる担い手を育てるための「せたがや女性防災コーディネーター」。昨年秋からの5回の講座を経て、本日30名の2期生が誕生し、私もその1人になりました。

今後は、世田谷版HUG(避難所運営ゲーム)を活用した地域啓発研修の講師や、女性の視点から避難所運営を支援します。

2018年度に1期生39名、
2024年度に2期生30名が認定されました。

この取り組みが広がれば、世田谷の災害時の対応が今以上に多様な視点をもったものになり、安全、安心、快適な災害後の活動にもつながっていくと思います。

認定講座は来年度以降も継続される予定です。
今後100人、200人とコーディネーターが増えていくことが、世田谷の明るい未来にもつながると実感しました。

Setagaya Women’s Disaster Prevention Coordinator

The Setagaya Women’s Disaster Prevention Coordinator program is designed to nurture leaders who can work in the community by incorporating women’s perspectives with consideration for diversity at the time of a disaster. After five sessions since last fall, 30 students were born today, and I became one of them.

From now on, we will be teaching community awareness training utilizing the Setagaya version of HUG (shelter management game) and providing support for shelter management from a woman’s perspective.

39 first-term students were certified in FY2018,
30 second-term students were certified in FY2024.

If this initiative spreads, Setagaya’s disaster response will have more diverse perspectives than ever before, leading to safe, secure, and comfortable post-disaster activities.

The certification course will be continued in the next fiscal year and beyond.
I think that the increase in the number of coordinators will lead to a bright future for Setagaya.
