全国各地から議員が集まる若手議員の会の研修で、初代こども家庭庁担当大臣である小倉まさのぶ衆議院議員による講演会に参加しました。

・少子化は我が国における静かなる有事であること
・少子化になると国全体に影響が出るため、当事者ではない方にも協力していただく必要があること
・そうは言っても、個々人の多様な生き方を支える中で、無用なプレッシャーを与えることがあってはならないこと

このような現状と、これから各方面で実施される政策について、学びました。こどもの声をしっかり聞いていくという国の覚悟を知り、また各自治体で必要とされる具体策についても考えることができ、大変有意義な会でした。

I attended a lecture by Masanobu Ogura, the first Minister in charge of the Child and Family Affairs Agency, a member of the House of Representatives, at a training session of the Young Diet Members’ Association, which brings together political members from all over Japan.

・A low birthrate is a quiet contingency in our country.
・As the birthrate declines, the entire country will be affected, and we need the cooperation of those who are not involved in the situation.
・That being said, we must not put unnecessary pressure on people as we support the diverse lifestyles of each individual.

We learned about the current situation and the policies that will be implemented in various areas. It was a very meaningful meeting where we learned about the national government’s determination to listen to children’s voices and also thought about specific measures needed in each municipality.
