池之上小学校の新校舎お披露目イベントで、桜新町の長谷川町子さんが1983年に描いて下さった、サザエさんの壁画除幕式を行いました。

たくさんの方のご協力で実現し、サザエさんも駆けつけて下さって、地域の皆でお祝いしました。今後も世田谷の誇りとして、大切にされると良いです。

At the unveiling event of Ikenoue Elementary School’s new building, we held a ceremony to unveil a mural of Sazae-san, which was painted by Ms. Machiko Hasegawa of Sakurashinmachi in 1983.

The event was made possible by the cooperation of many people, and Sazae-san came to the event to celebrate with everyone in the community. We hope that it will be cherished as the pride of Setagaya in the future.
