・クオーター制は実施すべきか？

など、生徒が自分で選んだテーマについて調べ、思考を深めた内容について、端的にわかりやすく説明してもらい、日本の教育がここまで探究的学びの機会を作れているということに感銘を受けました。

中高一貫校ならではの異学年交流も行われており、高3の先輩から下級生への、探究に向かう姿勢に対するメッセージも興味深く読ませていただきました。今回が初めての取り組みだそうですが、今後に期待しています。

I was invited to Fujimi Junior and Senior High School’s [Research Achievement Festival].

・How can we avoid smartphone dependency?
・What measures should Japan take to address its declining birthrate?
・Should a quota system be implemented?

Students researched themes they chose themselves, deepened their thinking, and presented their findings concisely and clearly. I was impressed that Japanese education provides such opportunities for inquiry-based learning.

The school’s integrated junior-senior high structure also facilitated cross-grade interactions. I found the messages from senior high school students to their juniors about approaching inquiry-based learning particularly insightful. While this was reportedly their first attempt at such an event, I look forward to seeing its future development.
