明治時代の地図や、航空写真など、さまざまな地図を重ね合わせることができる「マップDX」というアプリを使って、三軒茶屋のまち歩きをしました。太子堂四世代遊び場マップを加えたことで、昔は水田だったところが子どもの遊び場としてどのように変わっていったのかということや、路地や細い道は遊び場として重要だったことなど、さまざまな発見がありました。この地図を手にしながら、今の遊び場と比較することで、見えてくるものがたくさんありました。

Taishido Four Generations Town Playground Tour

Using an application called “Map DX,” which allows you to superimpose various maps, including a map from the Meiji era and aerial photographs, we walked around Sangenjaya. By adding the Taishido Four Generations Playground Map, we discovered many things, such as what used to be rice paddies changed as playgrounds for children, and how alleys and narrow streets were important as playgrounds. With this map in hand, there were many things that could be seen by comparing it with the playgrounds of today.
